Mónica Bustamante Wagner

I'm the author of the NA trilogy FROSH (The Studio/ Paper Lantern Lit, fall 2015).

I was born in a Peruvian city by a snow-capped volcano. Growing up, books were my constant companion as I traveled with my family to places like India (where I became a vegetarian), Thailand (where I *almost* met Leonardo di Caprio), France (where I pretended to learn French), and countless other places that inspired me to write. Now, I live in Chile with my husband, three boys, eleven hens, and stray dog.

I'm represented by Stacia Decker of Dunow, Carlson & Lerner Literary Agency.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in HR, I settled with my husband in a very small town in Chile, near the Pacific Ocean.
